James’ Journal

While in Klamath Falls for a wedding a couple of weeks ago I took a moment to explore the industrial part of town. The beautiful brick buildings and sun-worn wood and paint are such a nice break from the lush, green Willamette Valley.
These were photographed using my old early '70s era Polaroid Pack-Film camera.

     

About a year ago I met with Clinton and Kelly at a park near the Willamette rive for a few engagement photos, and now it's nearly time for the big day! Watch this space.

I love old cars. We have a few of them, and we drive at least one just about every day. They're not just transportation, they're time travel! Here are a few that I've photographed recently.

       

I collect and use and photograph  vintage cameras. The designs are so beautiful, and the Bakelite plastic and stainless steel materials just feel so good in my hands.

Dustin and Mandy's wedding was way out in the middle of nowhere outside of Eugene at the home of a family friend. The location was rustic, but it was perfect!

Andy and Sherah had the windiest wedding ever. The Heceta Head Lighthouse is such a great place for wedding photography in Oregon though that we didn't even care!
